Finance Analyst

Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Analyst to join a fast-paced commercial company near Exeter. You will be joining the business as part of a highly effective finance team on a 12-month contract.

Finance Analyst – The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

• Financial performance reporting/analysis.
• Variance analysis, accruals and pre-payments for monthly reporting.
• Management reporting on a weekly and monthly basis including product profitability, actual sales performance etc.
• Financial modelling.
• Business partnering operational teams providing insightful information on financial performance.
• Supporting and advising on finance related projects.
• Supporting controls and process improvements, developing and implementing solutions.

Finance Analyst – The Rewards:

Salary: £39,000 – £45,000pa + benefits including 25 days holiday, ongoing support and development etc
Location: Hybrid role with 2 days per week in office
Contract length: 12 months

 Finance Analyst – The Person:

• We are keen to hear from accounting professionals with excellent commercial accounting and financial analysis experience.
• You’re likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA ACCA or CIMA), or studying towards qualification
• You will be a self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced, change environment where you will be hands on.
• A first-rate communicator able to build effective relationships as well as business partner operational colleagues.
• A natural solutions finder with excellent analytical skills.
• You will be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.
• Advanced Excel skills including use of formulas, look ups and pivot tables are essential.

**Please note as this is a hybrid role, candidates need to live within commuting distance of Exeter.**
