Accounts Administrator

Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Administrator to join a small finance team at a professional business near Okehampton.  This is a super opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to grow and further develop experience in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Administrator will be responsible for a range of accounting duties:

• Completing all ledger entries for sales ledger transactions.
• Daily reconciliations of income.
• Creating and issuing ad hoc sales invoices.
• Collating and reporting for sales ledger activities for month end.
• Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with sales/finance queries both internally and externally.
• Extracting accounting information from multiple systems and analysing for reporting.

Salary: Up to £27,000pa
Benefits include: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension, life assurance, free parking etc
Location: On site role
Hours: Full time, Mon – Fri, some flexibility on start and finish.
Start Date: Immediate start available although not essential.

Accounts Administrator – The Person:

• The successful candidate will be proactive, friendly and enjoy being in a busy role.
• Recent accounts experience including sales ledger and bank reconciliations is essential.
• Good analytical skills, with strong IT skills including MS Excel, experience of Sage is desirable.
• You will need to be organised and able to work using your own initiative.
